Jayne was diagnosed with Wegener's disease, which caused inflammation of the blood vessels and ultimately kidney failure. She received a kidney transplant but developed recurrent multi-drug resistant urinary tract infections. Her course of treatment was further complicated by medications used to prevent organ rejection that reduced her body's ability to fight infections.
Jayne has a very busy career, and her goal was to be able to go home, return to work, and resume her normal life. RHI provided her the opportunity to receive IV medication at home and the flexibility to meet her where and when it was most convenient for her.
Jayne received IV medication, laboratory monitoring, and clinical assessment according to her schedule and needs. She was able to continue her career throughout the course of treatment without interruptions. RHI was there every step of the way to support her medical needs and help her fulfill her professional commitments.
